Extension BFS has created a collection of shared directories (folders) in Box for the purposes of distributing and collaborating on certain financial statements and reports. Access is granted automatically to department heads, CEs, and BFS staff. Department heads may request access for additional members of their teams, upon request.
Box Reports Repository
The BFS Reports Repository in Box is intended to serve as a shared file directory for monthly financial statements, Go/No-Go reports, quarterly variance analysis reports, budget workpapers, and other documents. Each department has been assigned its own directory.
Extension leadership (Dean and Associate Deans) have read access to all department report repositories in Box, while department heads, CEs, and BFS staff have read/write access to these directories. At this time, limitations related to file-level access restrictions prevent us from saving certain budget and other documents which contain confidential compensation data to the shared repositories.
Requesting Reports Repository Access
To request access to the BFS Reports Repository for your department for members of your team whose responsibilities include financial statement review, Go/No-Go report review, budget review/preparation, please submit an email request to dsa@unex.ucla.edu. Formal approval (via email) by the department head is required before access may be granted.
